The Warriors, Builders, & Weavers of Cincinnati’s Foodshed

Studio Kroner presents Warriors, Builders, & Weavers, a three-day exhibition rooted in Cincinnati’s Foodshed: An Art Atlas, a visually rich exploration of the Cincinnati Tri-State region’s food economy. Produced by Alan Wight and collaborators, the Atlas informs this exhibition by bringing original artworks, research-based storytelling, graphic-novel-inspired storyboards, and newly created neighborhood food maps into the gallery. The project highlights the farmers, chefs, activists, artists, and enterprises shaping a more sustainable and equitable regional food system. Warriors, Builders, & Weavers translates these ideas into an immersive exhibition experience, anchoring facilitated conversations and public programs that reveal the often-unseen abundance of Cincinnati’s food landscape.
Fruit Fest - Foraging the Ohio Valley

Join us to celebrate Fruit, Foraging, Food Maps, and the 15-year anniversary of Edible Ohio Valley Magazine. Panel discussion with native fruit experts, facilitated by Alan Wight. Eat and drink with friends while exploring a special exhibition, showcasing 10+ food and fruit foraging maps, including the release of 3 new ones, and a Black Raspberry Zine, tabling by Green Umbrella, Common Orchard, and Edible Ohio Valley Magazine.
The Artists & Art of the Atlas: Cincinnati’s Foodshed

Hang out with the Artists, Designers, and Story Shares who helped to create the Cincinnati’s Foodshed: An Art Atlas. This exhibition celebrates the creatives behind the project. This event was sponsored by Green Umbrella & The Greater Cincinnati Regional Food Policy Council, The UC Center for Public Engagement with Science (PEWS), and the UC College of Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Information Technology (CECH)’s Office for Innovation & Community Partnerships.
